Personalizing a Roblox-Themed Celebration Using AI-Assisted Workflows
A Roblox-themed celebration was developed as an immersive experience for a young gamer's birthday party. The project brought together character personalization, event graphics, spatial design, custom décor, and production planning to create a cohesive experience from invitation to venue.

APPROACH & RATIONALE
The creative direction began with personalizing the birthday celebrant as a Roblox character, then expanding the visual world with additional AI-generated characters and themed imagery. These elements became the foundation for the event's visual system, which was developed across the backdrop, flyers, wristbands, and other branded materials.
Custom table centrepieces were also designed and handcrafted using everyday materials, including paper food boxes, foil, playing cards, artificial flowers, and decorative elements. This extended the theme beyond printed graphics and into the physical details of the event.
The venue was designed around two distinct experiences: an energetic gaming zone for young guests and a more relaxed area for adults. The space, décor, activities, food service, music, and guest flow were planned to allow both groups to enjoy the event comfortably while remaining part of the same overall experience.
The programme was designed to keep the young guests engaged throughout the celebration, beginning with a two-hour gaming session before moving into hosted activities and a multi-stage tournament. The competition drew inspiration from MrBeast-style games and the dramatic, masked-game atmosphere of Squid Game, combining video-game challenges, physical games, masked hosts, and prize-based competition to create an immersive experience unlike a typical birthday party.
The project also involved vendor sourcing, production coordination, venue setup, print production, installation, and event-day execution, bringing the creative direction from concept through to the finished experience.
IMPACT
The celebration became a standout event among the birthday celebrations being hosted by the young guests' classmates that year.
The birthday celebrant and his friends were especially excited by the experience, with the event continuing to be talked about weeks after the celebration. Parents even reported that their children couldn't stop talking about the event.
The combination of gaming, competition, food, themed environments, and personalised visuals created an experience that stayed with guests long after the day.
